Aakeyliah is an outgoing and social young woman who enjoys being around friends and making the most of the people and experiences in her life. She enjoys attending school, staying connected with her peers, and looking forward to activities that give her something exciting to work toward, especially the upcoming track season. She lives in a residential setting while participating in a transitional living program, where she is learning important skills to prepare for greater independence. Like many young women her age, Aakeyliah enjoys listening to music, staying busy, and expressing her own personality and style. As she continues working toward independence, Aakeyliah is building confidence, learning to advocate for herself, and looking forward to the many possibilities ahead.
