Dajane is a dedicated student and a loving older sister who keeps doing well in school despite everything she has faced. Since she was removed from her home and placed with her siblings, she has stepped up to help care for them and make sure their needs are met. Through it all, she has found a genuine passion for reading. During visits with her CASA, she asks to go to bookstores or the library, and the joy books bring her is easy to see.
