Maya came into foster care in March 2025 and now lives with her maternal grandmother, where she says she feels safe and loved. She is doing well in school and has made many friends. Maya enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, dancing, and especially arts and crafts, which give her a fun way to express her creativity.
