The Treehouse Foundation is Re-envisioning Foster Care in America through several initiatives: The Treehouse Intergenerational Community; The HEROES Youth Leadership Program that engages youth, ages 14-24, who have experienced foster care; the annual REFCA Conference and many training and collaborative activities. The Treehouse Foundation Mission is: to inspire, implement, and support innovative practices which ensure that all children and youth experiencing foster care find their places in loving, connected family relationships and supportive communities that help them lead fulfilling, productive lives. The goal of the Treehouse Foundation to see every child rooted in family and community, and to cultivate collaborations and initiatives which support this goal and enable youth who have experienced foster care to make full use of their potential and become successful, participating members of their communities.
