Ever since Elli started High school she has had a weekly meeting with her after school club and student council at her house. In the summer months they do outdoor activities like corn hole or practice volleyball while talking about all the needs of their high school. During the winter months they don't get to enjoy the outdoors as much so for Christmas this year Elli would love a Karaoke machine so they can still meet and just hang out downstairs and connect with music and singing. She really enjoys her friends connections and feels like it has definitely improved her views on life.
Elli is 16 years old and lives in CO
Elli entered the foster care system after enduring years of abuse and neglect by her biological family. She is finally thankful to feel at peace and safe where she is in her foster home. She has overcome so much in her life and has excelled in school all through the trauma she faced. Elli has worked hard to be accepted into a prestigious high school program where she will be able to earn her associates degree as she completes high school. It is a very rigorous program that gets high school students started on their college career and they can transfer their credits to many universities worldwide. She hopes to one day be a gaming designer and influence kids that are just like her and help others stay connected.
