Equipping the Called Foster and Crisis ClosetJean aged out of foster care on her 18th birthday. She has been living across the country with family. Jean is a remarkable young woman who is trying to relive part of childhood she didn’t get to fully enjoy during her younger years. She enjoys things that support her desire for a healing redo of her childhood like Squishmallows, LILO and Stitch, art supplies, Legos and soft cuddly blankets and pillows. Jean has different abilities and is facing her challenges and mastering new skills.
Jean is developmentally delayed and one of the things she enjoys is putting a Lego set together and then displaying it for everyone to see. She has not mastered the more complicated sets geared for teens but she is working hard on getting better with her building skills. This is great for her focus and gives her a sense of accomplishment.
