A Special Holiday Surprise for April who is a NJ Foster Scholar

April is proud member of the NJFC Scholars Program, and is working so hard in college. While the holidays are super exciting for a lot of people, they also can be difficult for individuals impacted by foster care, and especially for those without the support of a traditional family structure. This holiday, we would love to make sure April remembers just how great they are by having them choose a special gift for themselves!
April is 25 years old and lives in NJ
April is a senior at The College of New Jersey pursuing a Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Fine Arts. After graduation, her plan is to attend law school at Temple University and focus on child and family law. She is a proud member of the NJFC Scholars Program, which provides funding for youth who have experienced foster care and are seeking a post-secondary degree at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or a career/technical school. April dreams of one day of owning her own tattoo shop.
