Javier experienced domestic violence prior to placement. He is a respectful and responsible young man. He is protective of his sisters. He was working prior to placement and shares how he is interested in looking for another job. Javier expresses his interest in collectable cars from Fast and the Furious. He also adds that he likes working with his hands and likes to create cars with model kits. Javier also enjoys Legos and watching movies. Javier is adjusting to his new placement and is appreciative of foster parents.

Javier advocates for himself and wants to show that he is responsible, so he is increasing his independent living skills. Javier was determined to get his driver's license at his young age and recently passed his driving test and reached his goal. Javier's birth mother was able to get him a used car and he is saving money to pay her back, and his foster mother also supported Javier in the process. Javier would be so excited to receive a gift card so he can purchase floor mats and accessories for his car this Christmas.
