An Extra Special Holiday Surprise for Sumaya who is a NJ Foster Scholar
Sumaya, 24 years old, NJ |
Wish submitted by:
OSW - NJ Foster ScholarsSumaya has been in foster care since she was 16. She is a proud member of the NJFC Scholars Program, which provides funding for youth who have experienced foster care and are seeking a post-secondary degree at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or a career/technical school. Sumaya is looking forward to a bright future after graduation, and is focusing on a career in law enforcement.
Sumaya is proud member of the NJFC Scholars Program, and is working so hard in college. While the holidays are super exciting for a lot of people, they also can be difficult for individuals impacted by foster care, and especially for those without the support of a traditional family structure. This holiday, we would love to make sure Sumaya remembers just how great they are by having them choose a special gift for themselves!
Allison grants the wish for Sumaya! Thanks Allison.
