The holidays can be a tough time of year for youth who experienced foster care. Jay aged out of foster care, which means he does not even have the support of the former agency and the system overall. Please help Jay purchase a special treat this holiday season!
Jay is 26 years old and lives in NY
Jay is a former foster youth in NYC. He was adopted but this did not turn out to be a forever home, and he found himself essentially homeless, living with a girlfriend. Jay has recently received a Section 8 voucher and we are hoping he will have a permanent home very soon. He identifies as male, but his vital documents do not match his identity, which has led to other struggles. Jay is a charismatic and charming young man, with many dreams. Stable housing is the first step to ensuring he can meet his other life goals.
