At the TableJamilet is a college student who is a mother and is an older sister who takes care of various siblings. Since coming out of foster care, she is the one responsible for all her siblings' needs. Jamilet would like to start a food business some day. She is close to graduating from Hostos Community College.
Jamilet's son started pre-school this year and she is hoping to make his Christmas extra special. She would like to get him some educational toys (his language is exploding!) She would also like something special for herself to celebrate passing all of her classes and having a successful semester.
