Dewayne is looking forward to completing his BA in creative writing this spring. He is working hard to finish his senior projects and is dreaming of the days when he will have a bit more time for leisure and fun. He is wishing for an X-box system so that he can play video games to keep his mind off some of the pressure and -- looking ahead - really relax a bit once all these projects are done! You won't meet a student who is more generous with his time and experience in supporting other foster youth as they strive for their place in higher education, so thank you for returning his generosity by granting this wish!
Dewayne is 28 years old and lives in CA
Dewayne is a junior transfer student. He has had a rough upbringing, however, he is very persistent and resilient. Dewayne is an English major. He is still unsure what he wants to do after graduation, he is thinking about teaching, but we will see. One thing we all really like about Dewayne is his gregariousness and his ability to light up a room when we walks in. Dewayne has a bright future ahead of himself.
