Nylah has been with grandparents from the time she was seven years old. Prior to that she was often the caregiver for her toddler & infant siblings. Despite the trauma she has experienced she is still a genuinely caring child who loves to help in any way she can. She is more mature than she should have to be at her age but has the heart and fun loving personality of a small child. She loves to be outdoors as much as possible and will often ask to have dinner outdoors.

Nylah has been asking for a new bike since her last one wore completely out from her riding it nonstop. She is older now and would like an adult cruiser bike that she can toodle around on and enjoy the ride. She would be so excited to receive such a wonderful gift. They live in a small village and her grandmother said she can just see her now smiling and slowly riding through the village, stopping to talk to everyone she sees... young or old ..... on her way.
