Alumni of Care Together Improving Outcomes Now (ACTION Ohio)Kay's personality reflects one of her favorite colors: yellow. Yellow is the color of happiness, optimism, creativity and enlightenment. As a former foster youth and current college student, Kay helps mentor other youth in learning how to cook, budget and prepare to successfully navigate college.
Kay was honored to be featured in a recent news story to support the work of One Simple Wish. She’s recently been invited to do numerous speaking engagements and has been asked to bring her own equipment to do so. Kay is constantly gathering and sharing resources and remains eager to pay it forward to support and improve outcomes for other young people transitioning from foster care to adulthood. She would love to have her projector to bring with her to her speaking engagements.
