Ana was diagnosed with diabetes last year and has had a difficult time adjusting, particularly regarding food. She's scared of making the wrong choice and, as a result, no longer enjoys cooking or eating. To make matters harder, money is tight, and she doesn't have the funds to experiment with new, healthier ingredients she might find she loves. A gift card would allow her to experiment, find some new staples for her kitchen and maybe find joy in eating again.
Ana is 24 years old and lives in PA
Ana is a determined, smart and creative young adult. In the months leading up to turning 21, Ana worked two jobs while attending college. When COVID-19 lock-downs ended one of her positions, she immediately found another. Ana made certain that she would be financially prepared to age out of care and her housing program. She is equally determined to be successful in her career and plans to work with young adults like herself.
