A Tablet for Alyssa to help her autistic son self regulate

Posted Feb 20, 2023
Alyssa's 8 year old son is autistic and uses a tablet as as source of emotional regulation while learning how to code and learn more about his special interests. He has not had access to one in a while now and has been struggling with coping. A tablet would help Alyssa be able to teach her son what he loves and help him to also self regulate easier. He finds being engaged with learning helps him to focus and allows him to breathe a little easier when he is struggling.

Alyssa is 32 years old and lives in CO

Alyssa is a caring, kind and very artistic woman. She is autistic so struggles with social situations and anxiety, but uses it in her favor by creating amazing art pieces. She is a doting mom of three beautiful children and has decided to go back to college and pursue her degree in social work. School has been challenging but she is pushing through it and has her goal on graduating and hopefully relocating to a new area that she has never lived and start fresh with her kids and a new perspective on life. She loves the outdoors and would love to live somewhere with more trees and cooler temperatures.
