Kenny was on a walk with his family at the park and he saw someone riding an electric skateboard and was just fascinated by it. His grandmother noticed how he lit up watching them. He told her how cool it was and that he would love to have one but he knew she couldn't afford to get it for him and he was ok with that. She would love to see his excitement if he were to receive the only thing he has ever lit up over! She says he would be so excited to be able to conquer a new skill!
Kenny is 14 years old and lives in OH
Kenny is the oldest of 3 brothers who are being raised by their grandmother. When they went to live with her, he was non-verbal and had seen more bad things in life than any child should. He's grown into a happy, responsible, loving, and protective big brother who is respectful of all people and tries to do the right and fair thing always. He recognizes that his ADHD keeps him from lots of things but he continues to be the best he can be. He started a lawn mowing business last year to service his neighbors and continues to work hard at that so he has cash for activities with friends. He really enjoys playing soccer and basketball and realizes he isn't the best player but is proud of his improvement so far.
