Penny Lane CentersDerrick is an athletic boy who loves to play basketball. Derrick is currently in foster care and loves his room. Derrick says that he likes privacy and enjoys sleeping in his bed. Derrick attends school close to his foster home and enjoys walking home sometimes. He will ask his caregiver if he can walk home once a week with a schoolmate home. Derrick enjoys the fresh air and exercise. He also likes having one to one time with his friend.
Derrick needs some new school clothes. He wants to pick some trendy clothes to feel more confident at school. Kids pay attention to what they wear and don’t wear at school. Derrick expressed wanting to feel stylish and fit in with his peers. Derrick likes hoodies, jeans, and graphic tees. Derrick says his favorite colors are black, gray, and blue. However, Derrick says he doesn’t venture out of those colors much but is willing to explore new options.
