She is autistic, which makes social situations and managing anxiety challenging for her, but she channels these experiences into creating incredible artwork. Having experienced foster care in her youth, she has a deep understanding of resilience. Now, as a devoted mother of three beautiful children, Alyssa has decided to return to college to pursue a degree in social work. Although school presents its challenges, she is determined to graduate and hopes to relocate to a new area where she has never lived before, seeking a fresh start for herself and her kids, along with a new outlook on life. Alyssa loves the outdoors and dreams of living somewhere with more trees and cooler temperatures.

Mornings are tough for Alyssa. Getting herself and her son ready and out the door on time for work and school is exhausting. She would love to be able to stop at Starbucks to get herself a delicious treat on her way to work!
