At the TableJamilet is a college student who is a mother and is an older sister who takes care of various siblings. Since coming out of foster care, she is the one responsible for all her siblings' needs. Jamilet would like to start a food business some day. She is close to graduating from Hostos Community College.
Jamilet is now an aunt and she would love to cook a meal for her family to celebrate. Things have been tight lately and if has been challenging to get enough food because she she takes care of her siblings and her son. Her whole family would get to enjoy the feast, and she will be so excited to make this happen for her family!
