Rylan has several interests from video games to music and cooking. He is taking the next step to independent living and will have his own studio apartment. As this is Rylan’s first apartment and he will need all the furnishings. He wishes for an air fryer to create meals for himself. This wish will have such a positive impact on Rylan as he has often been the caretaker and is now ready to pour some self-care into himself and embrace his love of cooking.
Rylan is 21 years old and lives in NJ
Rylan is a trans-male, who is currently receiving independent living services through a transitional supervised living program. Rylan called for services on his own after becoming homeless and struggles with his mental health. Rylan does not have any family supports but has shown to be resistant to life’s challenges! Rylan was able to quickly find work and is applying to start community college in the spring! Rylan is very goal oriented and wants to pursue a college degree in psychology. Rylan loves music and sports.
