Despite these challenges, A'Laya is a fun and silly girl who loves roller skating, her dollhouse, and helping in the garden. She does well staying busy and is involved in several activities, including 4-H and multiple sports teams.
A'Laya struggles with some fears at nighttime in her bedroom. A'Laya has found fairy lights and a "tent" type setup to help her feel secure. Her foster family is moving to a different house so they are hoping this canopy can help make that transition fun and exciting for her as well as increase her ability to feel safe.
