Beyond juvenile justice reform, Nykia hopes to be a part of the movement to close down the last youth prison in the state. Nykia believes in investing in alternative programs like recreational programs, increased educational opportunities, and job training and placement access.
Nykia loves to be outside and is enjoying this lovely summer weather! She recently moved close to her friends and would love to have a bike to go riding together at night as they are trying to get healthy. This will be a dream come true for her!
