Michelle has experienced multiple home placements and is currently under the care of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Recently, she and her two sisters were reunited and found shared housing after the loss of their mother last year. Michelle is a witty and energetic girl who treats others with respect. However, her challenging upbringing has had a negative impact on her academic performance. She has also faced significant health issues. Despite these obstacles, Michelle remains optimistic about her future, even while dealing with housing instability and ongoing health concerns.

Michelle is in need of new clothes for herself this summer. She hasn't purchased new clothes for her changing body size given her ongoing health issues and is more comfortable wearing loose-fitted clothing. Michelle desperately needs new weather-appropriate clothes that fit. She is challenged with finding clothes that fit her changing style as she prefers a different style of clothing than her family is used to. She would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to pick out clothes for herself!
