Foster Alumni MentorsKim aged out of foster care at the age of 17. It took her 12 years to get her bachelors degree, but she never once stopped working towards it! Now, she works every day to help others who aged out of foster care reach their goals. She has a big heart and loves to see others succeed. Her goal is to be a support to everyone who don't have any supports, to inspire hope, and show them they aren't alone.
After experiencing foster care herself, Kim founded an amazing non profit, Foster Alumni Mentors. She has dedicated her life's work to creating a community of alumni to help support one another. Kim will be taking a group of alumni to Denver for an Independent Living conference and would love to share the experience of seeing Ed Sheeran in concert together while there. Kim was recently diagnosed with cancer and is a light to all who know and love her as she stays amazingly positive.
