He regularly keeps in touch with his biological family and often thinks about them. He loves to read and aspires to become a journalist in the future. In school, Jelani has many friends, is a member of the choir, and actively takes on leadership roles whenever possible.
Jay's sister just got an iPad for her birthday from OSW, so he has requested one too. Jay and his sister hope to be able to facetime each other because they live in separate placements and can only see each other once a week. Jay also requests a case and screen protector for the iPad to ensure he can keep it safe.
