Khesly has been through a rough life. She is a refugee from Rwanda and became an orphan left in the care of an aunt unexpectedly. Khesly has shown that she can be resilient but is also super bright graduating high school at the top of her class. She recently was admitted to the Nursing Program at the University of Arizona, only one of 2 African-American students admitted. Khesly has a contagious smile and willingness to help others and is a joy to be around. She enjoys decorating, hanging out with her friends, and perfumes.
Arizona Department of Child Safety requests this wish for Khesly.
One Simple Wish posts the wish to the website.

"Becoming a nurse is an incredible life-changing process for you and all the people whose futures you will touch. I admire your overcoming a very challenging past to move forward to change yourself and the world. Hopefully the new chair will make studying more comfortable. You will certainly do well. Gloria Gery, Connecticut"
