River was taken in by family at 9 months old. He has been raised along with his 3 brothers. All of the boys have autism and other special needs. River has meltdowns, ADHD, speech, and elopement issues. He is very sweet and kind. He says please and thank you, and acknowledges others' kindness as well. He loves to sing and make up songs. He likes to run circles around the coffee table for long periods of time and his favorite activity is the large floor puzzle of the US.

Part of River's disability makes him love being tossed and turned. He would live on a carnival ride or the Tea Cups at Disneyland if he could. The drift car would fill his need for body pressure and help calm him down. He would never want to stop! That deep muscle pressure is very important to help him regulate his emotions.
