Despite navigating significant challenges and transitions in care, Selene works incredibly hard every day to be the best version of herself. Selene is working very hard in therapy to build her internal focus of control and establish confidence in herself no matter her circumstances. It is wonderful to see her smile and see her shine when someone invests time and energy into her and provides her with the little, tangible things that make her feel beautiful. Selene has asked for a manicure and pedicure because she realizes self-care is so important!
