A new bike for Kris who loves to stay active and on the move

Posted Sep 10, 2023
Kris loves to stay active by travelling around his neighborhood visiting friends, exploring, and getting out in the fresh air. His favorite mode of transportation is his bike, but he has outgrown it, so has been walking. For his birthday this year, he would love a new bike so he can get around quickly and get in a little exercise, all while having lots of fun!

Kris is 13 years old and lives in ME

Kris is an adventurous and intelligent young boy. He loves to be outside swimming in the summer and building snowmen in the winter. He has been living in foster care for 5 years and has had a difficult time being separated from his mother and siblings. He uses his imagination to deal with some of the grief and loss he feels. Games like Minecraft help him socialize with other kiddos and use his imagination to solve puzzles and create new worlds. He also loves to learn. If given the chance and proper support at school, he shines. He also has a very giving heart. While he can have trouble controlling his anger at times, he is quick to acknowledge what he did wrong and try to make amends. Kris is a young boy who needs patience, understanding, and above anything else- to know that he matters in this world and is loved!
