Guiding Hope Inc.John has been in the foster care system since age seven. It is hard to believe that in less than six months he will age out of the system. Although a bit anxious regarding this life transition, John has created a future success plan to stay on track and realize his future dreams. Moving from one foster group home to another over the years has created challenges with schooling, both academically and socially. Despite obstacles, John continues to persevere with an immediate goal of obtaining his GED. Once completed, John would like to attend a local college. John is bright and articulate. Given support and encouragement, he will realize his future dreams.
John just moved into his new apartment and his daughter is getting her own room. John has longed for the day in which he would be able to have his own room and now having enough space allows for him to have his own room and for his child to as well. John's is super excited about this and wants his daughter to have a princess room.
