Elliot and his brother were removed from their home due to neglect and emotional abuse. They have been placed, together, in a licensed resource family home since May, 2021. Elliot is a thoughtful and smart 8-year-old boy. He has grown so much during the past 2 years and his CASA is so proud of him. Elliot loves to show his CASA educational games on the computer, and he is always so focused and excited about these games. He is thriving at his new school where he started this year by transitioning to the general education classroom for 100% of the day.

Elliot is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has worked with different specialists to help him learn and grow along side his peers. He has just started a new school and having a tablet of his own would be very beneficial for him to play educational games to continue to learn. His new school offers a lot of computer-based learning and this would be a great way for him to continue to learn outside of school hours. It also would be great for him to have his own tablet for age-appropriate games and shows.
