Asa is a 5th grader who does well in school. He does struggle with ADHD but is learning appropriate coping skills. Asa lives with grandparents who also care for 3 of his 4 siblings. Asa attends church with the family, he enjoys reading books and loves to go fishing in the summer with his uncle. He played baseball over the summer and is looking forward to basketball. Asa has chores in the homes that he does to help out. Asa shares a room with his younger brother, and the two boys get along well. They would love a game system that they can play together and with their friends.

Asa never slows down. He's always up and out the door ready for new adventures. He doesn't think about the fact that the weather might have turned cold or the 10" of snow that was dumped the night before. To keep him warm and dry, he'll need a winter coat and pants that fit him just right.
