Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemJoseph has a passion for both baseball and art, particularly drawing. Joseph loves to draw and is very talented. It is therapeutic for him and he loves drawing pictures to gift to others and share his feelings/thoughts. He is very protective of his loved ones and is beginning to enjoy the learning process. Recently, he has been doing well in school, especially in a small, specialized classroom environment. Due to significant developmental delays, he struggles with communication, particularly when it comes to discussing the future. However, he is aware that he wants to earn a lot of money!
Joseph saw some of his peers riding a hoverboard and has talked about it non-stop! He has asked for a "super cool" hoverboard for Christmas. He is currently in a placement away from his siblings and this will help him with some socialization with others in the neighborhood.
