Foster Alumni MentorsAshley lived in a group home, where she completed high school and went on to attend college, earning her degree in Psychology. Ashley has built an incredibly meaningful life since aging out of care. She has served in the military, is married, and is a devoted parent to her own children. She currently works in hospice care, supporting individuals and families through grief and end-of-life transitions. She earned her Master of Social Work in May 2022 and continues to pursue her passion for advocacy. Ashley is hardworking, dedicated, and deeply caring. She hopes to continue her professional growth by passing her clinical licensure exam and furthering her ability to advocate for children in foster care, giving back the same support she once received.
Ashley would love to go to Universal Studios for an ultimate holiday experience. She will be overjoyed to have a nontraditional Christmas this year, opting for a California dream vacation come true to one of her favorite places. Ashley is looking forward to making good holiday memories. This experience will be a game changer and forever remembered as the best Christmas!
