Catarina is a quite but engaging young adult who has been through tough times that lead to her being in foster care. Her parents were taken away from her, but luckily she has been able to stay with an adult sister. Still, she was in an abusive relationship that cause her yet additional trauma. She is now safe and working on bettering herself. She graduated from High School, and is currently enrolled in college. She hopes to work in the nursing field to be able to live independently, yet maintain her family as support. Catarina is a kind youth and she has shown resilience.

Catarina is currently in college and is working on her educational goal of becoming a nurse. Catarina can greatly benefit from having a computer to assist her with her school work.
