Mateo is a very energetic young boy who prides himself on being named the fastest runner in his class. He used to struggle academically, but he has worked very hard to improve his grades and his behavior in the classroom. Mateo enjoys playing sports like football and baseball. He also enjoys playing video games and watching Anime with his older brother.

Mateo just moved in with his grandfather unexpectedly. He is adjusting well to the change, but his grandfather has shared that a gift card for groceries would be helpful, since it will take a few weeks to get financial assistance from the state and he is currently on a fixed income. Mateo would also enjoy a gift card to Shop Rite to be able to pick out his favorite foods and be able to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday!
