Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemAmy is a remarkable young woman who has faced many challenges in her life. She has been placed in several different homes, and at one point, she ran away and was listed as a missing child nationwide. Currently, she is living in a girls' home and is approaching the age at which she will age out of the system. Despite her struggles, Amy excels in school and is a talented painter. She plans to attend cosmetology school after graduating from high school in the spring of 2026.
Amy's school requires her to have a clear backpack. The one she is currently using has broken and cannot be repaired. Amy would like another clear bag as she has a lot of books to carry in between classes!
