Estrella recently moved to a new area and has been doing an amazing job mentoring teens and young adults who are currently in foster care. One of Estrella's favorite things to do is to sit down and read. It helps her take her mind off her troubles and feel more relaxed. That's why she's hoping that her special wish comes true- a set of chairs to create a cozy reading nook. It would mean the world to her!
Estrella is 19 years old and lives in CA
Estrella is living in a home with other youth, but continues to excel in school and maintain a great attitude. She left Los Angeles to stay away from trouble and start a new life. She loves singing, and is a great mentor to her peers and youth younger than her who are trying to navigate the foster care system. She is a bis siter to many foster youth!
