Jessica recently moved away from all she knows for new opportunities in another state. While this has been a good move for her she misses the "one person" in her life that has been her rock through her tough times in foster care. This connection was made through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Having Maddie in her life, not only has taught Jessica some of the most valuable lessons while navigating through life on her own but her unwavering loyalty and support is unmatched. Jessica believes if Maddie was not in her life, especially after her suicide attempt she'd be a more hardened person. Being able to go home to surprise Maddie for her birthday without fear of being unable to afford it would be the greatest wish Jessica could ask for!
