Grace Retreat Foster Care and Adoption ServicesLily is a truly beautiful and inquisitive little girl who has recently found her forever home after being adopted from foster care. After a challenging time in kinship care where her needs went unmet, she was placed in a loving licensed foster home. Since then, Lily has made incredible strides in expressing her feelings and learning to navigate the trauma she has faced. Even on days that feel heavy, she radiates warmth and positivity, reminding everyone of her bright spirit. Though Lily has been welcomed into her adoptive family, the shadows of her past still linger. She continues to face hurdles linked to the difficult experiences she endured before her journey to foster care. However, surrounded by the unwavering love and nurturing environment of her new family, she is receiving the support and understanding she needs to flourish. With every step forward, Lily's resilience shines through, and her story is one of hope and enduring love.
Lily recently moved to a new foster home. She has to travel an extra 45 minutes to get to school and for visits with her biological mother. While on the way, she often gets a bit bored and wishes she had a way to play games. She's tried asking to play with the other child's tablet who lives in the home, but unfortunately, that child isn't willing to share during the car rides. Lily would love to have her own tablet so she can play games whenever she wants.
