Grace Retreat Foster Care and Adoption ServicesLily is a delightful and curious child in foster care. She was placed in a licensed foster home after spending time in kinship care. During her stay there, she made significant progress in expressing her emotions and learning to cope with the trauma she had experienced. Even on her cloudy days, Lily remains a ray of sunshine.
Lily arrived at her new foster home with the worn-out shoes her grandparents sent her in, and she's been borrowing her foster sister's shoes. When asked what her favorite brand was, she said Nike because she's always seen her friends wear them. Lily would love to pick out a pair of sneakers and maybe some slip-on sandals. Lily has never been to the Nike store, so she doesn't know what she wants. She is excited to walk around and see what she can choose from.
