Ella is an amazing person who has been through a lot in their life. They are proud of who they are and feel comfortable with their non-binary identity. Ella has a condition called Elhers-Danlos Syndrome, which affects their blood vessels, skin, bones, and joints, but they are not letting it hold them back. To help with their mobility, Ella recently started using a cane. Along with taking care of themselves, Ella is a devoted cat parent to four furry friends.

Ella experienced a lot of school changes while in foster care, and at some point, she dropped out when a lot of her school records were lost during a placement change from another state. She lost a lot of her motivation to want to go. As she got older, it became harder to go back. She feels she is finally ready for the commitment and receiving additional support and tutoring to help her get the GED completed. Getting a laptop would make studying and attending online classes much easier for her. She is hoping getting her GED will open so many doors for her to get a job and even continue to higher education.
