Candace is a former foster youth and mother who has two beautiful boys. She loves to go camping and hiking with them. In her downtime, she enjoys playing video games to relax once the kids are asleep. She is attending Cal State Long Beach to get a higher education. She wants to have the life and the things she didn’t have while growing up. She wishes her boys will have a full life with love and support growing up.

Candace is currently pursuing her master's degree and teaching credentials at CSULB. She is enjoying her educational journey and is looking forward to gaining valuable experiences in preparation for her teaching career. However, she doesn't have her own computer, and believes that owning a laptop would be very helpful to complete her academic projects and homework assignments. Having her own school supplies would also save her time by not having to rely on the campus' computer labs. This particular laptop is perfect for her needs since it has a touchscreen, which will allow her to take notes during class. Additionally, as she commutes to campus daily by bus, the laptop's portability makes it easy for her to carry it around.
