Emma is an amazing young woman who is living in foster care without her two siblings. Though foster care has been difficult for Emma, she has been able to remain positive and flexible. Emma was born with a traumatic brain injury and has done phenomenal with learning her coping skills and asking for help when needed. Emma loves school but is unsure what she wants to do when she graduates. Emma is a real special kid who is going to go so far in life!

Emma was born with a traumatic brain injury and she often feels disturbed in loud environments. She says that she finds the bus ride home from school particularly overwhelming, but listening to music helps her calm down. These noise-cancelling headphones would be ideal for her to decrease the overwhelming noise and to allow her to come back to center while listening to her favorite music.
