Charlie is bright, active, and sweet. He has been in the foster care system for several years. His foster mother changed her whole life to care for Charlie and his older brother. She has implemented consistency, love, and structure in their daily routine to give these boys a successful future. Charlie loves hanging out with friends and being around people. He also just adores his older brother!

Charlie is extremely excited to attend camp this summer with his brother! He can't wait to attend Upon the Rock Christian Camp this summer. It's a faith-based camp that offers so many fun activities! Charlie is an incredible boy who requires attention and structure. There are only a handful of camps that are led by experienced staff who understand and know how to navigate children with trauma. It has been tough navigating summer camps for Charlie that offer the support and experienced staff to meet Charlie's needs. Upon the Rock focuses on creating a kind, inclusive, welcoming, and supportive camp community with positive peer connections and well-trained counselors as role models. This camp would be a great opportunity for Charlie and his brother, and Charlie is excited to learn about living in the wilderness! Camp slots are filling up quickly, so Charlie needs this wish filled so he can reserve his spot. He will be so happy to be gifted this amazing opportunity!
