Anna and her sisters were removed due to re-occurring violence in the home. Anna is the oldest of five sisters. She loves her sisters deeply and strives to set good examples for them, and they look up to her tremendously. Anna has made great strides academically and is committed to her academics despite multiple changes in placements and schools in the last two years. In addition, she loves going to the beach, swimming, waterslides, and reading.

On a recent visit with her CASA, Anna expressed her desire to go to Sesame Place with her family. They all love the water, and this is a very safe space to swim, do waterslides, and have fun. Anna recently moved back to San Diego County to be placed with her biological mother. While she was living with relatives out of county, she always talked about going to Sesame Place when she went back home and would love the opportunity for a fun day there. As Anna is the oldest of five sisters, she has taken on a lot of responsibility at home while her mother works hard to provide for the girls. Because they have been so focused on meeting their basic needs, this has not left them with time for things they enjoy. A day at this theme park a dream that Anna has had for quite a long time and she and her sisters have all been working very hard to help in the home and are doing well in school despite their moves.
