Veronica has grown up without any positive role models in her life. She was abandoned by her family and has struggled to make real-life connections with female role models. This has made it difficult for her to make sound decisions regarding her relationships, both romantically and professionally. However, she will soon be starting the monthly Women's Group at BSLO. The aim of this group is to connect young adolescent foster females with strong and positive female role models, as they too lack such role models in their own lives. The program will encourage the members to journal their ups and downs, successes and failures, which they can then discuss in a healthy and supportive environment!
