He is adjusting well in his new home and is performing admirably in school. Marquise loves to play basketball, football, and soccer, and he dreams of becoming a sports doctor. Despite experiencing significant trauma in his short life, he continues to smile and maintains a positive outlook on life.
Marquise has been doing really well lately - he's gained some weight and grown about a foot taller! Plus, he's been having a blast playing baseball and basketball. Although he was struggling in school for a bit, he's made a tremendous turnaround in his academic performance and is no longer at risk of falling behind this year. A new pair of Nike sneakers would be an awesome reward for all his hard work.
