Alana is a strong and motivated young woman who continues to work toward her goals despite experiencing difficult circumstances growing up. She and her sister spent time in the foster care system and experienced the loss of their father at a very young age. These challenges have shaped Alana into someone who is determined to build a better future. Alana is focused on her education and is committed to doing well in school. She continues to work hard and strives to overcome obstacles while building confidence in herself and her abilities. She enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, and finding ways to express herself. Alana is learning how to turn her experiences into motivation as she works toward becoming successful and independent. Alana and her lovely family are currently residing in an upstairs apartment. While Alana is grateful to be staying with her wonderful grandmother, she is experiencing some trouble due to the neighbors' smoking. The smoke is bothering her, and she has asked for an air purifier to be put in her room. Alana believes that having an air purifier will help her breathe easier, making it easier for her to sleep and relax in her room without having to inhale the smoke.
